Who We Are
The Dahlgren Sharks are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with 60 years of history in our community. We’ve been teaching kids ages 5-18 the fundamentals of swimming, water safety, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Located between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers, we understand that strong swimming skills aren’t just about competition; they can be lifesaving. Every summer, we help dozens of young swimmers build confidence in the water while developing character, discipline, and a love for the sport.
