At the Curtis Park @ Dahlgren dual meet on 07/26/2010, Caroline Bentz (7) of Dahlgren established a new RSL Yard Record for Event #17, Girls 8 & Under 25 Yard Freestyle at 15.13 seconds, besting a 15.34 swam by Laura Cavataio of Aquia Harbour during the 1990 RSL season.

SHARK ALERT The key to a successful swim program is the parent volunteer. Without each volunteer, the program does not exist. It takes over a hundred volunteers to host a home swim meet. Each family is expected to volunteer at the meets. All positions are essential, whether you are handing out cards to swimmers or feeding people at concessions. NOTE: Some of the other teams merely assign parents their jobs with very little choice (yes, it’s true), so we are giving you the opportunity to be in control of your volunteering!!!! Please don't make our volunteers continue to ask for help, just step up and do IT.
